Technical support
Supported video conferencing software
Most therapies are conducted online via video conferencing, which saves you the trip and works as well as meeting in person. However, we recommend that you have a reasonable bandwidth, a standard camera and headset with built-in microphone or a dedicated microphone. We strongly recommend that you test your video conferencing setup before therapy so that it is not hampered by unexpected technical issues. However, it is usually sufficient to check the configuration of the video conferencing software by checking the camera and making a test call, for example, using Skype’s built-in “Make a test call” feature. If you can hear your voice clear and well, then you’re ready for therapy. If you are using hearing aids, we recommend that you test your audio setup more thoroughly and use a better quality sound system or speakers, or consider a personal meeting.
